Best Wings in L.A. – I've been a customer at the Rustic for sometime. Always raved about their wings to everyone. I'm glad that Susan has now come up with a Happy Hour menu. $3 Bud and Bud Light drafts , $4 wells, and $4 selected import drafts all day until 8:30 and late night Happy Hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Glad to see the Mozarella sticks made the food portion of the menu too for only $4. They even have free nachos during the day!!! Glad to see there are still good deals even in this economy.
LA's BEST HOT WINGS!!! – For few years me and my friends would come from the Valley to hang out at our favorite cool bar "The Rustic".Not until recently I have tried their hot wings. OMG!!!! What have I been missing!!! By FAR the best hot wings I have ever munched on . My favorite bar became even more cool. Now I recommend them to everyone. Enjoy!
ROCKIN RUSTIC KEEPS ADDING MORE. – I love that every night there is something different to keep me entertained. You have to get there early to get a booth for the Laker playoffs. This year they have the MLB baseball package so we can watch the Dodger & yankee games at the same time. Karaoke is on Tuesday and trivia is on Sunday . They have 8 new tap beers and a kick ass happy hour Monday thru Thursday. It's great that I can walk there, but they still have free parking for my friends. Wings, Wings, Wings and Drinks – This is the darkest bar in LA. Seriously, come in from the shining sun and it may as well be midnight in the Rustic. Inside there are comfy booths. Though on weekend nights it's pretty tough to get into one. Stella and Bud on tap. Strong cocktails and tasty food make this place a winner. Weird, yet good! Ye Rustic Inn is a strange and dingy dive bar in Los Feliz with strangely good food! They have cheap mixed drinks and lots of different $3.50 lunch specials. I got a veggie burger, fries, and a side salad for only $3.50!!! The whole time I was eating it I thought this tastes way too good to be true, it must be poisonous. But hey, I ate and drank at Ye Rustic Inn and lived to tell the tale.
one of the best bars of 2005 – Three years ago, my review would have raved about: - $10 pitchers of budweiser - hot, fun and competent service staff - an eclectic mix of regulars - one of the best jukeboxes on the northeast side - wings that can't be beat. I drive from Boyle Heights for the wings. – This bar is nowhere near my home, yet the flavor and consistency of the wings have me on 'regular' status. Add to this the sports on the TV screen, the clientele (a good mix between creative types, IATSE-types, contractors, and other professionals) and it makes for an interesting hang. Use to be a cool Dive-bar – I use to love this place. Perfect for football Sunday's or just stopping by for a night cap. But recently the they hired a bunch of new waitresses who are non-attractive and walk around with a Shiit-face! Not only do they have attitude, but they tend to not know the menu or demand a ridiculous cork-fee! So, before I would have rated this place a perfect 5.. now I give it a 1 because of the ugly waitresses they have.
BEST BUFFALO WINGS IN LOS ANGELES - and I lived in Buffalo, NY once. – SLAM DUNK!!!! I grew up in Webster, NY and went to college in Buffalo, NY (1983-1987) so I've known some great Buffalo Wings. And having moved to Los Angeles in 2005, I've been discouraged with the wings here. I even tried the fabled "Hoagies and Wings" but they were extremely small wings (almost a joke) and dry.
