The main room has a long, beaten-up bar filled with the kind of extras you only see in an Oliver Stone film. The back room offers booths for a more private night out. You can't build this kind of place—it has to age like fine wine.

I've been going there for years. The food has been good, most of the time. Mostly good company, with a few exceptions. I guess a dive bar is one that looks well used, with it's regulars sitting at the bar, and the unfamiliar usually sitting at the tables. The jukebox plays old 80's hits and stuff from beyond. Love it! – Go to the Rustic during the day and get your, "hair of the dog" on. Order ten hot-wings and a pitcher of beer for 20 bucks. Great place to catch, "the game" and drunken sports fans of teams around the world, (without the JOCK mentality). It's nice and dark in there ... spend the afternoon and be shocked to walk out into the sunlight. One of the best in the city ... especially if you miss the great greaaazzzy bar food of the midwest.
Boycotting Karaoke Night – As one of the last holdouts among my friends I have been a loyal costumer until last week! Tuesday evenings are their karaoke nights. Great neighborhood joint – I have lived nearby for years and this place has always been popular. It's like a grungy East Coast or Midwest neighborhood bar, except the girls are cuter. Always an interesting collection of locals and a great place to stop on a Los Feliz pub crawl. The food is pretty good. The Hot Wings are the stars, though. Great place to chill – The Rustic is the best place to go if you're looking for a great neighborhood bar with a friendly staff, strong drinks, and great food. The wings are incredible, and the rest of the menu has a variety of items, perfect for whatever mood you're in. Best Wings in L.A. – I've been a customer at the Rustic for sometime. Always raved about their wings to everyone. I'm glad that Susan has now come up with a Happy Hour menu. $3 Bud and Bud Light drafts , $4 wells, and $4 selected import drafts all day until 8:30 and late night Happy Hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Glad to see the Mozarella sticks made the food portion of the menu too for only $4. They even have free nachos during the day!!! Glad to see there are still good deals even in this economy.
LA's BEST HOT WINGS!!! – For few years me and my friends would come from the Valley to hang out at our favorite cool bar "The Rustic".Not until recently I have tried their hot wings. OMG!!!! What have I been missing!!! By FAR the best hot wings I have ever munched on . My favorite bar became even more cool. Now I recommend them to everyone. Enjoy!
ROCKIN RUSTIC KEEPS ADDING MORE. – I love that every night there is something different to keep me entertained. You have to get there early to get a booth for the Laker playoffs. This year they have the MLB baseball package so we can watch the Dodger & yankee games at the same time. Karaoke is on Tuesday and trivia is on Sunday . Wings, Wings, Wings and Drinks – This is the darkest bar in LA. Seriously, come in from the shining sun and it may as well be midnight in the Rustic. Inside there are comfy booths. Though on weekend nights it's pretty tough to get into one. Stella and Bud on tap. Strong cocktails and tasty food make this place a winner.
