I am hoping "YALE" is responsible for the horrible service for yale heart care at Devine street in north haven
This hospital has been amazing with treating my fiance with an extended illness. The ER, the CCU, and the liver disease unit have been well coordinated and extremely informed. Every staff member is beyond kind. Yes, it's a teaching hospital, but all residents appear to be well supervised. I can't express how much I appreciate every single person who I have met when my fiance was in patient.
RecommendedGreat place to have procedures done. I went and had hernia surgery Oct 4. The staff was very nice, friendly and on top of everything. My nurse Nicole was the best and would totally let her supervisor know that as well. A++

Praising Yale Hospital! I’ve been without the one med that actually helps for 3 months because of insurance hold ups. Was trying to work with another pharmacy to get the prescription and was going round in circles. My Yale Neurologist was informed and within a week they got the prescription approved and pushed through both insurances so that i have my meds today and they hand delivered them to my door. Very very grateful.
My mother was a patient this past week and while the care in the MICU at Smillow Cancer Hospital was fabulous, her time on the 6th floor was quite rough. I should have taken a picture, but at one point there were 3 meal trays stacked on her window sill behind a full dirty commode that hadn't been used or needed for at least 24 hours. Wednesday-Thursday of last week. It's quite the shock moving from ICU to a regular floor. I equate it to moving from first class to steerage.
Everyone has been so nice to us.
When my Handsome son and his beautiful bride finally made the long awaited walk down the aisle I was in the hospital and couldn't be there to share their happy moment. The staff at Yale secretly called my daughter and set up a video conference call so I could be there to watch them take their vows, then when the wedding was over they had made me a wonderful steak/shrimp dinner. They made what could have been a very upsetting day for us a lot more bearable.
