This is a terrible hospital and if I had any other options I wouldn’t be here. Patients are treated like garbage and most of the staff couldn’t care less about you.
In a scary situation. the staff were very kind and caring. They made the situation less stressful and I appreciate everything they did for me.
I had surgery, and stayed to recover for 5 days. To me there is no better hosptial. I felt compelled to comment after seeing some negative reviews. The care and concern of every staff member i had any interaction with was simply amazing. This would include the food service staff, and the people that clean. The nursing staff was never too busy to stop and listen, and explain the plan for the day. I was in awe of the hours they kept going, and never lost patience when asked a question. My first issue with this place is they dissected my mother's renal artery and sent her home internally bleeding, she list her right kidney 6 months later she developed a brain bleed and they cut into the wrong side of her head Here we are almost 2 years later and finally we get a competent doctor and staff that do a wonderful job. The nurses,doctors and staff are beyond amazing. I love them. They took care of me like family. I hope there furtures are bright and full of happiness.
Never again will I come to this hospital. Seems as though there aren’t 2 people who know what’s going on, because every time someone talks to me about what’s going on (tests, meals, discharge, etc) its a different story. Many of the staff are nice and polite, but there are some that are completely rude. It’s clear that $$$ runs this hospital, and not the interest in helping patients. Thank in advance, Yale Hospital, for your generic response that you give to each negative review.
There was day that you get nice people...a d days that you get some people that don't like to talk or be friend....well I did liked the ones that knows how to talk to the patient...and the 5 star goes to them...
Just read a job posting for this hospital...no wonder all the bad experiences with the total disrespect for their staff ...Certified Surgical Technologist..
