I can only echo some of the other comments here on post completion. My purchase went through in March 2023 and I have just found out (as I want to sell) that wym legal have not responded to a requisition from the land registry since June 2024 and so my lease is not registered. The standard response they are giving is terrible. Email forwarding and a proper system of file maintenance/checking should be in place to avoid issues like these, these are basic requirements for a competent firm... *** edit: I cannot comment on the n... read more
I used WYM Legal back in 2022 for the repayment of my Help to Buy loan. At the time, the process went fairly smoothly. It's now 2025 and I'm selling my house. My new solicitor has found that although the Help to buy was repaid, WYM Legal did not fill in the final form (DS1 form) and send it to Help to buy in order for the charges to be removed from the title.
