I am worried..... My mom just rented a home from World Realty and has already had a problem with her plumbing. Although they did send out a repair tech, he had to ask my mom for tools. Scary! Her fence is falling down, the sheet rock in the garage is falling down, there are cracks in the tile as you walk in the front door...which by the way, there is a space between the top of her front door and the door jam that is wide enough to stick your hand in and you can see the street. Bogus charges & Excessive cleaning fees... Warning: DO NOT rent from this company. I wished that I would've saw the reviews before I chose to rent from them. They do charge bogus and excessive cleaning fees upon moving out and they will REFUSE to walk the property with you after you vacate! All of sudden you receive no deposit back b/c they've found a list of things to charge you for. Renter Beware! We've had nothing but bad experiences with these folks. In fact they have been so uncooperative that we don't bother to call about repairs anymore because it falls on deaf ears. They have tried to stick us with valid repair bills several times and are very sloppy with their administrative processes. We can't wait to get away from them!
New to Texas I contacted World Realty when we were relocated to Texas and found them to be very efficient and helpful in finding my family exactly what we needed and within our price range. All the office personnel were very nice and helpful. At the end of our lease we wanted to purchase the home we had been leasing. World Realty handled everything, they even arranged for the financing of our home.
Rip off! I rented a 2 bdrm from this company. And initially the house had several repairs-broken dishwasher, no water pressure, no hot water, no oven, fence falling down, garage door didnt open, and thats just the major things. It took them over 2 months from the time we signed our lease to have these things repaired. We also realized that in the summer our electric bill alone was over $500. bad review our house flooded three times, carpet not replaced, we went four months without an oven and no compensation for the trouble, we are about to move out and im sure they will have try to charge us also for bogus repairs. our contract was not up unitl june or july 1st, but we get a letter stating we have unitl may 31st to move out because the owner has supposely decided to sell the house. we should have checked with the bbb before signing a contract with these people.
Renters Beware We rented a 3 bdrm from World Realty, several things had been listed on the move in list that were ignored. Rent house was settling terribly, eventually a leak sprung from the foundation, water bill, and electricity together averaged $500 month for the last 2 months we were there. They refused to credit our rent of $1195 or fix all of the plumbing problems and told us that if we didn't like it that we could move. Very unprofessional. Owner and business IS Horrible This was the worse decision ever made to rent from them. They lie about promise they make before you move in and lie to you about things when we moved out.
A Great Company to Lease From I have actually worked in this type of business in the past and this company is great to lease from. They are very nice and courteous and I have found that they do maintenance in a very timely manner. I will have been with them about 4 years now and they have been great!
