Hi. Very strange to be reading negative reviews about this home. My father has been a resident of this home for the last four years. Our family and himself have been very well looked after and always treated with dignity. The home however has overgone new paint work and carpets which look great. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
My mum is a resident of this care home and has always been well cared for and treated with respect during her time here. She speaks well of the staff and I can agree that all staff are welcoming, friendly, courteous and helpful when I have any queries. I am happy that I know my mum is safe and looked after at the home and has settled into a nice routine. I visit my mum regularly and find the care home to be clean and tidy whenever I visit. Some of the reviews on this website and harsh and untrue. I visit this care home regularly each week as a relative and, whilst the fabric of the home is outdated in places ( it's a very old building at the end of the day) it doesn't detract from the care given to the residents. The residents are cared for, looked after and loved by the staff here, as are the families. Activities are taking place each day and relatives are encouraged to join in too. This place is discussing visited today and found my family member looking very uncared for. The lounge the residents were sitting in stank of urine and the were stains all over the floor. No chrismas decorations up or nothing only a pathetic looking tree in the corner of the room. The management and owners of this place should be ashamed that they are leave people like this
