Excellent bar and lovely meals - wide variety, cooked well. We always enjoy our visits. The staff are amazing and Paul always looks after us very well. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the service is very friendly and professional.

Came in for burger and pint night. Best I’ve had at the Woody and believe me I’ve had a few. Pulled pork oozing onto the chips. Beautiful. All the staff are friendly and polite, who goes above and beyond and this also goes for Beth the Manager, Paul and Izzy. I got served by a new lad on the bar Riley. Really polite and helpful and all the meals came as asked for even though my lad is fussy and wants to change things. Perfect. Always wanted a local where staff know your name and welcome you. 1st time being here, called in to cool down, what an amazing place in a great location. We had food which was hot and fresh, cooked by Chef Ryan thank you Ryan, Beth and Paul behind the bar we absolutely brilliant and kept us laughing and it was a pleasure to chat to you both. Will definitely call again when we are in the area. Thank you for making us feel welcome and such a warm environment.
