We recently had to bring our beautiful dog as an out of hours emergency and sadly, he had to be put to sleep. The way we were treated during this horrible time was with the utmost care to both us and my boy. They gave us time and space so we could be with him, of which we are truly grateful. I cannot speak more highly of Wood Vets. Thank you for making this a peaceful time and for us allowing to say goodbye.

Lisa the vet was incredible with my dog, who has always been nervous of coming to the vets. He's a very vocal dog and in the past that has scared the vet and I've been asked to muzzle him. (he's a chocker spaniel!). Lisa took the time to gain his trust through fuss and treats. The only point he was muzzled was when it came to administering his vaccinations. We have had such a fantastic experience over the years with every member of staff that we have been in contact with. The Reception staff are always kind & helpful as are the Vet Nurses. A special thank you to Vet Jacob who has been so fantastic in helping Sal through his many medical issues, a truly special vet full of compassion and knowledge.

Thoroughly professional health check on a 10 year old lab annual injections completed and advice on a couple of concerns freely given. Always a pleasure to visit here whatever the issue. If only the NHS could emulate this ethos. Only area which might prove beneficial would be consultation area without the dog, difficult to concentrate on treatment options when trying to control excited 40kg Lab, Otherwise an email summary of the consultation
