Amazing views ,large grounds in the middle of nowhere
Stayed from 22nd to 29th March 2024. Nine adults, two seven year old boys and two nine year old boys. Thoroughly enjoyed our family time there to celebrate our grandson turning 18 and sister retiring. Gorgeous well equipped property, fabulous grounds. Did have issue with hot water to showers but acted upon very quickly and it did not spoil our stay. Boys loved the pool table, and the goal provided. Stunning view from main bedroom. Gorgeous Manor house. Stayed with friends celebrating a 65th birthday 🎂 The only downside that I could see is needed a 2nd fridge as not enough for 16 people, even with the wine fridge at the back of the house. Apart from that, we all had great time, the grounds are exquisite and town of cockermouth only a mile and half walk through the fields. The bitter end pub would recommend food n drinks.
Absolutely fabulous, brilliant, stunning place.
