Dr. Coates forced me to have a c section and I almost died. I was fully dilated when I got to the ER. Baby was breech but only 2 lbs, women have delivered breech babies before. I wasn't allowed to try and they yelled at me, I told Dr. Coates I didn't want it and she smirked, said I'd be fine and hurried out. Legally it's a patient's right to deny surgery, called informed refusal. I asked to leave, and asked for my family to be allowed back in and they wouldn't allow either. Can’t say enough good things about this office. From the front desk to nurses , Drs , cnp’s and ultrasound tech. They are caring and living saving
The staff at WHFL have been amazing to me thru both my pregnancies in 2018 and 2019. Dr. Coates felt like more than just my Dr because of how kind & understanding she was with my situation. Her nurses / office staff have always been super friendly and helpful even when I came in for baby #2 and grouchy I was having another so soon. I love them!
Dr. Coates is absolutely amazing. She has always been very kind, caring, and willing to help with any questions or concerns you have. I appreciate her calm and reassuring nature. My delivery went so smoothly, largely thanks to her! She was there within minutes, when I was already 9.5cm dilated when I got to the hospital! The WHFL team has always been great to me for as long as I have been a patient there. It wasn’t until recently, when my husband and I lost our sweet son at 34 weeks, did I realize how truly AMAZING they are. Dr. Coates performed my c-section and she was very kind, understanding and sympathetic of our situation. My appointment was at 7 pm, last night. Waiting in the room for over 30 minutes! I had to get up and leave, I was late picking up my daughter!!! I see this is a problem for the office! Not being able to keep up with the appointments and other people have had to walk out as well! Don’t make appointments for people, knowing you can’t keep them! Or at least INFORM them, there will be a minimum of a 30 minute wait! We don’t all have time to sit around and wait. Very unfortunate.
The only OBGYN I had ever seen was Dr. Bradley. He delivered all four of my children and saw me through a couple of difficult labors and deliveries. I absolutely loved him and was upset he retired last year. I was extremely nervous going to a new provider. Kerry made me feel very comfortable and made the transition much easier. I would definitely recommend your office and staff to anyone.
