I sat in the ER for 4 1/2-5 hours before i walked out. And on my departure of the hospital, a nurse had the audacity to say to me “you understand there are people dying back there” honestly just because i have a different issue other than covid doesn’t mean my care isn’t important. I’m so disgusted by the “care” i received at womack er staff. I would rather pay out of pocket. Worse hospital I’ve been to!! Don’t go there if you’re in pain and need immediate assistance.
Gives us the runaround when trying to schedule with the OBYN, then still cant schedule it. They just lost paperwork regarding our son's birth that was also there and continuing to no resolve a post partum appointment. Overpriced dumpster fire.
RecommendedThe emergency room is just that Emergency! They are amazing! I can't thank them enough!! They care and they know what they are doing.
The best place is Allergy Clinic!!! Then Physical Therapy Department!! Lastly the Radiology Department! Urgent Care is a joke!
Being a retiree, I have used Womack primary hospital and it's emergency room numerous times. My wife and I have had nothing but excellent extremely professional care. In fact if it had not been for the personnel in the emergency room I would be dead right now as they detected my heart attack and immediately whisked me off to Cape Fear Valley heart center for operation. If I ever need emergency care I will always go to this facility.
I don’t recommend coming to this hospitals ER. Second time I’m reviewing as my daughter sits in emergency room with a broken tibia in pain for 2 hours. While I understand they prioritize emergencies, I am truly appalled at the lack of service, empathy or professionalism. Please realize that you are supposed to be helping people and not gossiping behind desks.
Really cool one of our Soldiers literally had a stroke and they told him he was making it up and made him wait in the waiting room. Maybe would have turned out differently if you had treated it as an emergency but it’s not like there’s a set protocol for evaluating strokes or anything 🤔 🤷🏼♂️
