They have some amazing people working here, and I believe many of the staff are doing the best they can within a difficult system. A lot of what happens seems to be limited by insurance requirements, military policies, and the larger healthcare structure they have to work within. Be ready to be there for hours of 10 times 7 times I wait 6 or 9 hours is ridiculous
My husband and I were very impressed by the care my husband received at Womack. From the ER to hospitalization, Neuro surgery, neurology, step down unit, and 2 North was nothing but excellence. This includes the nurses, doctors, aids, and janitorial staff. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I wish some civilian hospitals would take customer service lessons from Womack. The biggest shout out goes to the staff at 2 North. You guys deserve a pay raise.
