Didn't know when employed by this company carers (Gillingham Dorset area) can also 'go private,' nor did I entail, when having charge of a relative's debit card, they can just withdraw up to £1500 on this card for 'wages and other items,' within 9 days. Where are the receipts? They seriously need looking into, and even when relatives may or may not give permission to draw out say, 'extra' money, is this procedure even allowed? From the first morning, when the carer told me she had not given dad a wash because there were no towels, flannels and soap, these were all in the downstairs toilet where the catheter had been emptied, and upstairs bathroom. Dad did not have his , glasses, hearing aids or mobile phone , medication was not in reach for him to self medicate.
