Been eating here and loving it since 1988. Still one of my very favorite restaurants in the world!
Had. Great time at Wintzells Our server Kristina was great on food was hot & fresh. Although she didn't bring any bread to the table overall it was a great experience.

Visiting from California, my family had a wonderful dining experience. Not sure if management changed hands since last trip, 4 years ago but some obvious changes were made. Staff is super Friendly, Food was outstanding! Met the owner Bob Omainsky, great person. Always a good thing to see owner workin as hard as staff! Thanks for making our Seafood experience a good one.....unlike Shrimp Basket Reastraunt on Old Shell Rd., total rip off. Welp Back to San Diego....
Was feeling adventurous and tried the chargrilled oysters. Never had anything as good. Blown away. Also loved the West Indies salad. Great!! And the. My son and I shared the oven broiled seafood platter. Very memorable meal.
We love Wintzell's Oyster House! Every time we are near downtown Mobile we go to Wintzell's! Everything is delicious! The atmosphere is charming and the staff are friendly and efficient !
The food and service are always great. The original location is a must for us when we are in Mobile. It's the first choice out of my mouth when people ask where-to-go
First time and we loved it. Great service, and great food. Seafood is awesome.
