Had not entered a Wintzells Oyster House for 25 years. Was pleasantly surprised to find one in Montgomery and was delighted to discover the best catfish cooked to perfection. By far the best cooked catfish on earth. Our waitress was the best - pleasant, experienced and professional. Would recommend this institution of gulf coast gastronomy to everyone that has a hankering for a delicious meal.
My husband and I enjoyed the ribeye steak. It was delicious and the atmosphere was very inviting. The waitress was super nice and very attentive.
I was greeted and sat quickly and cheerfully. Had a great waitress , had 2 orders of oysters on the half shell they were very good. Then had the best catfish I think I've ever experienced. This place is at the top of must go list for me.

Awesome place, try the oyster sample platter! You won’t be sorry!
You gotta try the “Weekender”, it’s the best! Baked Potato, Fried Green Tomatoes and Shrimp were all great. Our Server was wonderful. We go often.
