We were visiting from out of town and found this gem. I love a good oyster and these did not disappoint. Started with the best seafood gumbo ever then moved to grilled and raw oysters. It is all amazing and so was Nisha, our waitress! Onion rings hand battered with remoulade was my husband’s side of choice and they were light and crispy and delicious! Went 2 nights in a row. First night was the bacon wrapped shrimp w a side salad and cajun rice. Second night was the blackened redfish and shrimp over a bed of cajun rice (I think it was the redfish bienville). Both meals very good except the ‘cajun rice”. Greasy and flavorless; not even close to dirty rice.

We got lucky and arrived during happy hour. $7.50 for a dozen on the half shelf. The oysters were fantastic. The blackened shrimp salad was a winner too.
I wish I had actually had an opportunity to eat and give a review. Alas, my party was denied entry because we arrived at 9:50 p.m. and you were closed. This after I called to ask what time you would be closing and I was told 10:00 p.m. After racing back downtown to get there by 10:00, I was told you stop seating at 9:45 p.m. While that is understandable what is not understandable, unprofessional and down right discourteous is to not say that when patrons call and ask.
