Crab cakes were delish!
Loved it! Service was over the top, food is excellent and price is great too. We went on a Sat. Night with kids (total of 7) we got a seat as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was amazing! Oysters were great, so hard to choose and the options are plenty! All this greatness at an amazing price. A must do while in Mobile.

The Carnival Oysters are amazing. The ribeye steak is great. The shrimp and grits are out of this world. The bacon wrapped scallops are to die for!

We had a set menu because we were there for an event. Would haves to try some shrimp items. But, I loved the building and the ambiance. And I even tried something I didn’t think I would like at all, and it was delicious!

We had heard good things about this place and as a lifetime lover of seafood, who lives in Houston and goes to New Orleans for the oysters and Cajun food, I have to say that Wintzell’s blows everything away. The gumbo was by far, in the top 3 gumbos I have ever had. The raw oysters were fresh and perfectly sized and the chargrilled oysters were the best I’ve ever had. EVER! My husband used to come here with his family when he was a boy and has talked about it often. It was one if the reasons we decided to come to Mobile for his Birthday and our Anniversary. I have to say our meal was excellent! We will definitely be back!
