Fried dill pickles were good. Fried catfish and coleslaw blah. Usually much better.
We were on our way back from Destin to Texas from a weeks vacation. We stopped off in Mobile at Wintze's. We are so glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing and our server, Miss Pinky.... she is the best. We will be adding this as a stop every year.

We stopped in Mobile on our way home, I wanted seafood and boy did I pick a good one. The food and service was awesome. I had white fish and oysters they were delicious. The onion rings and seeet potato fries are delicious also. I will definitely go back.
Awesome dining experience!!!!! Oysters were great and the bacon wrapped scallops were melt in your mouth good!
Wintzells has the best Gumbo and oysters. Their staff is always friendly and the service has been excellent at the downtown location. They can handle large parties well too.
The staff were very friendly and the food was awesome. Only people in the South understand how to bread seafood - soooo good.
Had the shrimp and grits and looooved it! Will be back for sure
Great place with a great wait staff. The red snapper was phenomenal.
