Amazing oysters, yummy deserts, and great service
Not the same Wintzell's I remember growing up. The seafood didn't seem fresh and the oysters were "well" done. Probably won't be going back. Not very good for the money spent
We drove from MS to try this place. The food and service was certainly worth the drive. All the oysters in the oyster sampler were amazing and some of the best oysters I've eaten. My husband had the low country boil, I had the special, which was Blackened red fish with crawfish sauce and even the kids shrimp was battered perfectly and not greasy at all. We hope to come back soon.
I have been ordering the grilled oyster assortment just about every week lately. Beer + grilled oysters = happy.

Food was fabulous! I ordered the surf & turf. The shrimp were plentiful and better yet the rib-eye steak was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth. My only issue was with cleanliness, floors tables and menus, that says a lot to me. Otherwise, they would have easily been 5+.
Absolutely some of the best seafood I've ever had! Do not leave Mobile without having the chargrilled oysters! They were so good that as we drove back home to Kentucky after vacation that we stopped in Fultondale, Al. and had them again for lunch! I had the blackened Redfish for dinner the previous evening and it was spectacular.
