Was completely unsatisfied with my care and highly disappointed. Was discharged with acid reflux medication and less than two days later went to Lakeland regional and had surgery on an abscess in my throat that was closing off my airway. they completely acted as if they didn't care what my symptoms were and sent me away quick. pathetic

RecommendedAll the staff at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital are always so friendly and helpful. They definitely make a stressful situation as stress free as possible and you can tell the staff really enjoy what they do.

This is the WORST hospital in Polk county! I sat in the er waiting room with my 2 year old son for 2 hours while his ear bled because of a laceration! When I decided to leave it was already starting to scab up and at that point there is no reason to try to have it stitched up! On top of that one of the TRIAGE nurses violated patients HIPPA rights twice while I was there by talking about the patient very loudly in the waiting room with another co worker! This hospital deserves to be SUED!

Very poor communication and poor customer service and doctors misinformed me. The nurses would answer call lights and also i would complain to the staff and get no where. One nurse said if I didn’t like I could leave and find another hospital. Very rude nurses and they did not make time for you so I would not recommend this Hospital-South to no one. The worse hospital experience I have ever had.
RecommendedSavvy was amazing, so thankful for her compassion! All staff were friendly and comforting during my sons procedure. Thank you for taking such amazing care of myself and my baby boy!
