Mother in law was in an accident. car was hit by a train. she sat in ER hallway for 4 hours and still hasn't seen a doctor. only drew blood. her arm is swelling from injury. still no doctor has looked at her. I dont know why I post this this place doesn't care. I miss the old place before baycare ruined it
My wife fell during the night and we have been at the ER 4 1/2 hours and still have not seen a doctor. Ridiculous.
Absolutely the worst hospital in existence. Unless you have a death wish, please avoid this place. Because of their incompetence, my Mom may not survive after what she has experienced. She spent 5 days in the hospital the week before Christmas. Mom was released on Dec. 23 and then readmitted Dec. 27. After a 13 day stay at WHH the second time and all the elaborate tests they run, they didn’t find anything and sent her home Jan. 9. Friday she was admitted at Lakeland Regional bleeding internally. Sitting in ER and vowing to NEVER come back here. The staff is unprofessional and rude. They do not listen to what the patient tries to tell them at all. Totally disgusted with this place.
Worst emergency room ever! As I write this it is 3:15, we have been here since 11:30. The staff is extremely rude and condescending, and other patients are being taken back after being here for half an hour. Excuse was given that cases are seen in order of urgency - we just watched a man with the SAME ISSUE get taken back when he just got here less than an hour ago. Improve cost effective methods with psychiatrry with CPS's
My husband was informed by his specialist that was affiliated with winter haven to go to the emergency room to be admitted. He sat in the ER waiting room for 8hrs be informed by the doctor he was fine and only gave him IVs. We explained what his specialist stated and to contact them and they refused. We went home the next day we get a call from his primary doctor to go to lake wales hospital . We go there they admit him immediately because of internal bleeding.
