Writing as my Dad didnt get the respect he should have in his last year. It was a struggle to make an appointment at the beginning of the year. Once made we didnt see a doctor we saw a nurse practioner. My Dad was loosing weight , falling, starting to misplace things and starting to sundown, a recent blood test showed he was anaemic and was also backed up by the hospital who had to give him a blood transfusion because of it a month earlier.
