Winchester house has been such a blessing for my Nan and for my family. It has a warm homely feel, we were lucky to find this small homely home rather than the bigger homes we looked at previously. Whenever I visit, I’m so touched by how kind and patient the staff are. They have gotten to know my Nan so well and treat her with such genuine care and respect. Mum has been at Winchester for nearly a year and as soon as we visited we knew that this was the right place for her. Winchester House has a very homely look and feel and being a small home this suited her needs. Mum's care is second to none we could not have asked for more. All the staff are professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is adapted to her likes so we have not had any trouble with this. Would recommend without hesitation.

I recently visited Winchester House to attend a Christmas party, what a wonderful afternoon! The staff really had gone above and beyond to make the day special for the residents and their friends and families. A singer made the atmosphere magical, singing all of the old classics, she had us all joining in too. A full table of food for everyone to enjoy, raffles, guess the name of the bear, tombola, guess the number of sweets in a jar etc. Throughout the party staff regularly attended to residents, assisting when needed. I come to Winchester House to sing and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I sing at alot of care homes and this is one of the nicest. It seems like the staff genuinely care about the residents.
