I am yet again disappointed with the ER. The only reason I am giving two stars is because of the nurse my son had. Her name is Jane, she is a pediatric nurse and she was amazing and deserves 5 stars. This is the second time my son has come to the hospital in respiratory distress and the second time it was not taken seriously and that terrifies me for parents who don't know better.
The staff has exceeded our expectations in every way while delivering our son and taking care of him and his mother.
I was admitted into Winchester Hospital this past Thursday for chest pains. I have been in this hospital before quite a few years ago,and even though I don't have any complaints from that admission, I do want to compliment how much more efficient the hospital has become. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.All the tests I had were explained to me before and during the tests.I have to admit Winchester Hospital has come a long way from years before.
I was recently admitted to Winchester Hospital ,in Winchester Mass. The care I received was phenomenal'. The Nurses Aids on the cardiac unit approached with smiles and compassion they made me feel very welcome as well as the Nursing Staff even the pulmonary, blood lab,the maids, dietary, just everyone all worked as a team ,they all showed great compassion for myself and other patience .I have worked in Health Care as a CNA, HHA, and a PCA since 1991 and I have seen plenty Winchester Hospital has my highest rating I would wan... read more
My wife went into urgent care last Friday for the 3rd time in 3-4 weeks..they sent her directly to ER at Winchester Hospital..she had a CAT scan revealing multiple Pneumonia's in both lungs,she was admitted to 3 west..Iv anti biotics,steroids,breathing treatments ect..treatment was great..Wife discharged yesterday after 5 days in Hospital..discharging Dr neglected to call in meds,wife was Not sent home with a nebulizer to continue breathing treatments..all in all if she shows no improvement we are going back Friday!!!
I have had several visits to Winchester Hospital over last several years. Both my wife and I have had surgeries there. Always felt the staff there has been TERRIFIC! Everyone from valet parking team to Drs. are always treating us as their 'priority' as soon as we arrive. Would wholeheartedly recommend the staff and Winchester Hospital to be first choice in treatment.
I have been through a lot in my life what is the reason why I'm seating over here written this review. The ER at the Winchester hospital is the worst ER I have ever been. The wait, the rudeness from the front desk sure make you feel like you are in a public hospital in a 3rd world country. Don't even dear ask why are you waiting so long or how long more you will wait for! Than you wait 3 to 4 hours for a tiered and overwhelmed staff that make serious mistakes that can cost your life. It's like any hospital today....full of just miserable, shitty, grumpy people who you know would cut off a leg not to be there at their shitty job and they sure let you feel as much. It's nothing special. Just because you plunk a hospital down in a town for of wealthy obnoxious fucks doesn't mean it's a great place to work or be treated. I'm fact, it's quite the opposite.
