Terrible management After you move out, you have to pay for something which already was there before you move in.
Smoke Infested and many more issues Lived here for about 2 years and I would also agree with other reviewers that I think the 5 star reviews are probably fake. The apartments are smoking friendly and tenants take that to the max, everything smells like smoke, including your own apartment. Water is shut off frequently, but that doesn't mean you aren't paying for the days it is shut off. In one month (I believe it was February) water was shut off 9 times in one month for emergency repairs, and our water bill went up that month... read more
Apathetic management and negligent maintenance This place gets one star because at least our front door locked. Fought with them for 10 months to get our roof repaired. Water was cascading down into my roommate's room all winter and rotted away the drywall and studs. I even got the city involved and they were fined multiple times, including two weeks after we moved out because the roof was still not repaired.
Good central location I have lived here for a couple months now. Karen in the leasing office is great. Prior to signing a lease I stopped in multiple times and she was very patient and extremely helpful in helping me find a unit that met my needs. Rent prices in Portland are skyrocket high and I feel like the amount of space I got in my unit plus the amenities offered For the price I couldn't find elsewhere. Prices literaly change daily depending on # of open units etc so make sure you check their website for daily availabil... read more
Bad Place, Bad Handling I lived here for over 2 years in 3 apartments due to its proximity to my roommate's work and school. We had issues with holes in the wall, rats, ants, a kitchen sink whose pipes gave out ruining everything underneath it, and moving in to apartments that were not even cleaned. The air conditioners eat energy but don't cool anything. The sliding doors are not sealed well, so wind blows in between the pane. Heating is expensive and ineffective due to these doors. The walls themselves are not paper thin, ... read more
Are you sure? The staff are only friendly until you sign the lease. The very first day after I had waited 2 weeks for my apartment and had never seen the inside, I asked for a walk through and the girl in the office told me that she simply didn't have to do that, not that she didn't have time, but didn't want to. Since then, few have been helpful, most are rude and somewhat snooty, the office manager won't even make eye contact. The Prime Group touts professional management, but I do not find anything professional about snar... read more
Anywhere else but here If, after reading all the other horrid reviews, you still decide to live here, you're going to need this: http://www.osbar.org/public/legalinfo/tenant.html That's a link to the Oregon State Bar regarding tenant rights. I became well acquainted with this site when I went without properly working heat for over three weeks. The thermostat failed and the heat would not turn off, causing the temperature in my apartment to spike into the 90's. The solution offered by the leasing office was to turn it off at ... read more
Units look nothing like photos! My sister moved in a rush and the photos she was shown were warm and welcoming units. Hers was only half-painted, while the other half was left smoke-stained. A month later, SLUGS are crawling up her wall by her bed and it's wet to the touch. Turns out the wall/floor was improperly sealed, but all management did was come in and WASH the water stains and leave. Needless to say, creatures are still crawling up her wet wall from time to time and the whole place reeks of mildew. They cleaned it up... read more
Terrible Place to Live Do not move here. Management is terrible, apartments are broken, mold everywhere, the management does not care about your feelings or safety, all they care about is money and moving people in and out.
