These guys are actually ridiculous. Constant failed collections, people on the service line are useless. They will charge you for missed collections citing “contamination of bins” directly caused as a result of their failure to collect on correct dates. Over half collections missed in a month as well. Such a shame because they were off to a good start then just completely collapsed in a month. Somewhere along the line they have to realise they have some issues in their operation. Avoid like the plague.

Wilrose took one of our 660l mixed recycling bins away 3 weeks ago (by accident) but have failed to replace it. It's our busiest time of year and now 3 times a week I'm driving bags of waste to the council recycling centre to keep on top of what Wilrose are meant to be sorting. No offer of extra collections, no compensation, no replacement bin. Been dealing via our broker til now but running out of options now.

3 weeks and 1 day awaiting a bi weekly collection!!!! Apparently each time it’s “the driver ran out of hours” or my favourite “there was a technical issue”, haha what an absolute joke…..getting charged for the bin being heavy because every single collection runs either two days late or doesn’t turn up. Just come and take your bin away please it’s not worth the hassle. Contact Chiko at Affordable waste he will update you.
