Website advertises a 15% student discount if you enter and .edu email. I submitted my email and received a "Welcome" email but no promo code was ever sent. I called customer service to see what went wrong and they told that they have discontinued the discount, even though the website still advertises it. I asked if they would be willing to provide another discount since their website is still advertising the discount and I have already provided my email and they refused.
As everyone else is stating, the customer service for a brand that is supposed to be viewed as premium is laughable. We placed an order for a baby changing table/dresser 4 months ago when it was apparently "in stock" at the time. Once it finally arrived, it was completely damaged. It looked like the fork lift went straight through the back of the dresser, which is not the delivery team's fault it is a Pottery Barn warehouse issue as it had obviously occurred in transit. Website created duplicate orders. Contacted customer service to get a mail failure that the email on their website doesnt work. Finally contacted customer service and was told the items shipped but I could return the extra item. Received both items and now their website is saying its not eligible for return. Wont ever shop here again
Horrendous customer service. Once you purchase an item, if you have any trouble with it, they don't care. They blame the "vendor" and do not make any attempt to be useful. Would not recommend to anyone. Not worth the money.
Don't do it. Just say no. After two delays, I smelt Made In China coming. Welp, 4 March 2021 that walk like a duck was truth. The order was placed 9 January 2021. Horrible customer service when inquiry why such delays via Twitter and FB. Website never indicated backordered. You learn that after checkout. Spend your money else where. I ordered multiple items from West Elm and have experienced an endless parade of shipping and billing problems. Four of the five items I ordered were delayed substantially, with an excuse given of pandemic related problems -- yet we are now a year into the pandemic and they should be able to give more accurate estimates. By far, the worst company ever. I ordered furniture just to get the wrong item 3 times! I had to send it all back before I could be issued a refund. I was sent (not yet received) a gift card for my inconvenience. Well, I got my refund, less the value of the gift card. I reached out to them and asked for my full refund. I was informed once they have the void confirmation for the gift card, I will get the balance owed to me. What a JOKE! Pottery Barn Kids has lost my business.
I have spent hours trying to resolve the issue with our order and their customer service has been terrible. I keep getting different information and told to take different actions from my side. On 16 Feb I placed and order with Pottery bar and paid $11.00 for shipping. UPS has had the package at the facility that deliveries to my house since the 24th and today is the March 1st. I keep getting emails every day saying my package is out for delivery and then during the day I get and emails with a new time frame for the delivery yet it has not shown up!!
