Dr Johnston is truly a brilliant and out-of-the-box thinker-striving for solutions that work! Dr Johnston does not see my father as an age but as a person. My dad had first connected with Dr Johnston, 5 years ago, after hip surgery. At that time, he was fantastic. Today, at 93, my father returned to Dr - originally routed to another doctor. He had confidence and trust in Dr's thorough, thoughtful and very patient approach. We highly recommend Dr Johnston for his very comprehensive approach.
He was very personable. He took me on after issues with another doctor. He was honest and informative. I look forward to future visits.
After a referral and meeting with him, I felt very comfortable that he was to perform my robotic laparoscopic prostate surgery. Dr Johnston kept me well informed of: My condition, the surgical procedure recommended, my recovery and necessary follow up issues. His staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable with warm hearts and terrific smiles.

Dr. Johnston is a great surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and very caring. He explained all of my available options and took the time to go into detail. I consider myself lucky that he was my surgeon for my radical prostatectomy (robotic laparoscopic) because he did such a great job. The recovery time was much less than expected and I was able to return to work in two weeks (office desk work). He continues to follow up and cares about my recovery.
If I make an early appointment I have to wait an hour before Dr. Johnston will see me. Dr. Johnston recommended I take 2 new drugs (1,000mg each) for the rest of my life . He also gave me a generic drug that costs almost $300 more than the earlier drug I was taking that only cost me $100 for each shot. When I told him I did not have Donald Trump’s money he said. “He would not have his money if he were not a good businessm. I feel Dr. Johnston is politically gullible. I will not see him again.
Dr. Johnston was the surgeon who performed my radical prostatectomy (robotic laparoscopic). During my pre-surgery office visit, he was very friendly and comforting, and patiently explained everything to me. He performed the surgery masterfully, sparing my nerves (my cancer hadn't spread beyond my prostate) and reconnecting my urethra to my bladder in such a clean way that I've had neither urinary nor erectile issues. I'm forever grateful to him, and would gladly recommend him to anyone.
I can't say enough about Dr. Johnston. He's taking care of my dad and has been remarkable. So glad my dad is in such good hands. I can tell he has a big, kind, heart.
