Dr. Johnston recently performed robotic prostate surgery on my husband. He had an aggressive cancer with high Gleason scores and a PSA level of 16. He put him on hormone therapy right away to start shrinking the tumor and also to give us time to decide between surgery ( at over 70) or radiation treatments. It was a longer surgery because the tumor had latched onto the rectal wall. He was able to remove the tumor. Very skilled surgeon was needed and he was it. Good communication as well.

Dr. Johnston saved my life (age 53) when he detected a change in my low PSA score (2.5), recommended and did in a needle biopsy yielding a pathology report detecting cancer cells throughout my prostate gland. Dr. Johnston performed the prostate removal surgery flawlessly, was mentally worse than anything, and I recouperated rapidly; (dampness) for only 1/2 d day. Prostate cancer killed my father at age 63. Don't let it kill you. Find Dr. Johnston right away, he is the best there is

My husband and I had a great experience with Dr. Johnston and his staff. After receiving a diagnosis that no one wants to ever hear, kidney cancer, Dr. Johnston explained my surgery and recovery time clearly and precisely. All of our questions were answered with patience and terms easily understood. We found Dr. Johnston to be very personable, respectful, thorough and professional. I would recommend Dr. Johnston without hesitation to anyone that asks.

The world turned upside down for me when I was diagnosed with the advanced PCa. Dr. Johnston was very patient with me in explaining the options and their effects. We decided to go with the robotic surgery. The surgery was a success. So, far everything looks good. Thanks to Dr. Johnston who is very knowledgeable, understands and assesses patient conditions thoroughly, and prescribes effective treatments.

My mom is a new patient of Dr. Johnston's and as a nurse, I am very pleased with his care of her. He is thorough and explains all treatment options. He keeps up on all of the latest research and treatments so he was able to offer a different option for my mom. He is very busy at his Livonia office but takes the right amount of time with my mom. He has a good bedside manner and all of the staff at the office are friendly as well. We highly recommend him and his staff!

I had a great experience with Dr. Johnston and his staff. My surgery went well as expected. He explained my procedure to make sure I understood what to expect before and after the surgery. Felt comfortable with him and his staff is good and thorough as well. I would recommend you speak with Dr. Johnston III yourself for issues that you may have.

Dr Johnston is truly a brilliant and out-of-the-box thinker-striving for solutions that work! Dr Johnston does not see my father as an age but as a person. My dad had first connected with Dr Johnston, 5 years ago, after hip surgery. At that time, he was fantastic. Today, at 93, my father returned to Dr - originally routed to another doctor. He had confidence and trust in Dr's thorough, thoughtful and very patient approach. We highly recommend Dr Johnston for his very comprehensive approach.
