We stayed during September and were lucky enough to actually have some sun! Almost unheard of in 2024! The cottage was fabulous, clean, well equipped, peaceful and beautiful, even better than the pictures. Lots of natural light and really cosy and comfortable. Our hosts were very accommodating, especially appreciated as we booked last minute. There is a downstairs bathroom and bedroom too, ideal for anyone who may struggle with stairs. Perfect. I wanted to learn how to use a scythe, having never used one at all. I didn't know what I didn't know and Andrea and Jonathan were fantastic teachers and hosts for the day. I now feel that I can start to safely gain experience with a scythe on my own, having had good practice opportunities with different vegetation and inclines. Thank you and highly recommended!
We had a fantastic week at Wild Meadows with our family of 5 adults. Beautiful accommodation, lovely hosts, quiet and serene surroundings and a log fire! Wild Meadows is close to an interesting town and there are some beautiful historic towns within 30 to 40 minute drive - Ludlow and Hay on Wye. We are all looking forward to visiting again.
