I always donate to this charity because they provided excellent care to my uncle in his final months of life. It was over 20 years ago now and he passed away here of a brain tumor, he had been battling with for years. I was very young at the time and it broke his mother's heart, my grandmother. She outlived her own child and she was never the same since. However, she always spoke highly of WALH and the care provided by the staff. She has since passed away too, a long time ago now. This hospice is by far outstanding in all areas, the doctors, nurses and assistant staff along with the caterers are overwhelmingly brilliant with masses of compassion, understanding & caring. I don’t know of any medical centres that surpass the care I’ve now received on two occasions of my stay at the hospice. A truly wonderful place to be helped with health conditions.
