RecommendedI had my daughter Oct 8. The entire staff in the delivery room with my Dr. Shemwell were the best hands down. I can’t remember the one nurses name but she stood in front of me rubbing my arms explaining everything to me when I was overwhelmed with anxiety, excitement and so on. She stood there telling me everything would be ok as the anesthesiologist was putting in the spinal block. They kept me well aware of everything going on. The best hospital I’ve ever stepped foot in. I had my baby yesterday and I was treated with so much respect and they were legit doing things so fast! My favorite nurse was Nurse Aja. I highly recommend her. I also had other staff members I loved lol Mrs. Donna, Ms. Barbra and Nurse Lynn Pattie was amazing with my baby ! There were so many more! I loved every bit of my experience. Beds hard tho I ain’t gone lie lol

This ER is horrible!!! Sat for 6 hours with my 5 year old and got sent home with a prescription I could have bought at any drug store! No tests or anything and they barely even checked on him. Dr came in for a couple mins and nurse checked on him maybe 2 times total! Labor and delivery is amazing but the rest of the hospital is crap!!!
Best Hospital in North LOUISIANA. Best doctors, best nursing staff, and best medical care.

Waited 5 hours last nite at emergency room walk in without seeing a doctor. I could have died on the floor and they wouldnt have noticed...I left not happy.
I don't recommend St. Francis. First they have the worst parking. The Physician parking is on the first floor of the parking garage. They don't have anywhere to go all day so they should park on the top floor. And let the visitors park there. Second you walk in and get treated like a criminal by having to show you ID card and get a Stick on ID to enter the hospital. So I guess if you don't have your ID NO getting in to see your love one!! I have used St Francis since the 60s. I have seen the hopeless recover, I’ve witnessed almost any ailment or severe disease healed. I love the care they provide. I could write a book. Too much to share here. We are so blessed to have this facility and the staff that is beyond words.
