Wow, think twice before calling White/Bird Cahoots....I called for help/intervention wanting them to check on someone who I felt might be in trouble and thinking about killing themselves and within a short time I got a call back from the police asking me if I knew whether this person had any guns in the house telling me that there were several cruisers at the place. I had specifically asked to not involve the police. When I tried to follow up and get some information about what happened I was completely shut down. So here's ... read more

I worked at White Bird 1970-74. Also received services there. It was a model community, concerned with personal growth and social change in a holistic approach to health. I was training buckstopper and represented the secretariat on the tribal council. What a great experience. It is still going and helping thousands of people--Fantastic!!!
