They don't send people to clean up trash. I've found used needles in my yard and they don't care. People hang around my house all the time and no one tells them to leave even after I asked them to. White bird is a piss poor excuse of a community that claims they're helping out.
White Bird, well I can say that I always felt at the very least safe there while I was actively strung out on heroin. I knew that if I overdosed in their bathroom I would likely survive as they always checked on me to see if I was ok. Of course it's not a White Bird supported activity, shooting up in their bathroom, though they understand humans have a right to privacy when using the bathroom that everyone should regardless of their drug choice, gender, disability or housing situation or lack therein. Full disclosure. .... I work at the clinic and am eternally proud to be a birder.
White bird has helped me when I was down and out so many times and now I recommend people there for services now that I don't need the help..
