Was apprehensive about getting a recon power steering column for my micra, as someone on micra owners club who was involved in making them, vehemently advises against them. With cost of installation, thought it safest option. Glad I did, as it operates perfectly, and steering seems slightly lighter and slightly more responsive, not sure why? Only issue is that immobiliser dash light comes and stays on, sfter 5 mins. It doesn't affect anything, and is not a mot failure. Apparently can happen on certain cars. My 160sr micra is... read more
Very poor communication and never received my £50 back for the px against my old rack, even after sending multiple emails. 1st rack arrived and paid £450 to be fit, steering felt heavy and seemed to stick on sweeping corners. Western Power blamed another fault on the car even though I virtually had a new front end fitted. I had to get the rack removed and a replacement was sent at another cost of £600 labour.
