A family member had such a positive experience here recently. She was in the hospital for two weeks and was so glad to be in Westerly where family and friends could visit her easily vs. in New London or New Haven. New technology and services at Westerly made it possible. Thanks to all, especially the doctors and nurses who took care of her!

I just spent 3 nights on the surgical floor after my total hip replacement. I can't say enough about the fabulous staff that cared for me and coached me through the entire big & scary process!! I am truly grateful for the 5 star treatment! Everyone was so engaging and kind, with each other as well as those in their care! Such a great medical care team!! Thank you!

You get to sit there in pain and wait for hours before you can even be seen
I was treated so poorly by your PA on Tuesday after coming in by Ambulance from work. I thought they forgot about me waited 3 hrs for an x-ray and to be told they saw nothing to explain my knee/leg pain also no comfort measures were taken. apparently I was only there to get drugs???? followed up with ortho dr the following day who saw plenty on the x-ray. So much I will be out of work up to a month. What is going on at this hospital?Just ??? The bedside manner is horrible and seems to be no compassion for your patients.

I usually have bad experiences at hospitals but I must say the nurses and doctor I had tonight at the westerly hospital were amazing! Usually I try and avoid going to this hospital because of the things you hear but after sitting in the waiting room for over two hours they treated me like family and got me right into a room and got all my scans and blood work done right away!

This dump is not fit to care for humans or animals. So many rude staff, patient care teams that have no “care”. I’m writing this from my hospital bed while I’m demanding to be transferred to a real hospital. Oh and the HIPPA violations. I walk by a monitor full of heart rhythms with patient first & last names, had to pull papers with my name & DOB out of the trash??? Count on me reporting this place!
Westerly hospital has an amazing staff and some of the best doctors. Thank you Carrie for the opportunity. Thank you MedSurg and ICU you are an amazing staff. Perhaps one day our paths will cross again.
