RecommendedThank you to the Endoscopy department for the wonderful care last week, everyone was very attentive and friendly. Dr. Connors really helped me to feel at ease too. I expected a whole different scenario because of my deafness (usually traumatizing because of communication barriers) but it was one of best care! Thank you!

anyone who has a family member or friend with a mental illness, do not take them there. The nurses are terrible to their patients and so are the doctors. And forget trying to contact your family member or friend that’s there because they take away their constitutional rights to use a phone just because they are feeling suicidal. They don’t help you at all. They make the situation 10 times worse by making you feel like you were in a jail for something that you cannot help. Do not go there if you nor anyone else is having depression/mental issues. They treat you worse than a prisoner! my 16 yr old voluntarily went there to get help and the security and police there were very aggressive with him! He screamed out that he was being hurt, yet they just put more pressure on his body, all bc he was playing with a piece of string to help with his anxiety bc there is nothing else they are allowed to do. they denied me medical attention today ..i arrived and handed them my doctor note stating I cant wear a mask..the receptionist said that was perfectly okay and took my.note and scanned it into there computer and had me sign few papers check my temp and then proceed have me wait in the waiting room..half hour later a different lady and guy approached me said my dr was not doing my procedure due to me not wearing a mask and I had to leave..i begged and begged saying I wear one i wear a face shield anything..the amount of pain ... read more
this hospital almost killed me I will never ever go back there. I went in for severe stomach pain and they gave me medication I was allergic too after telling them I was allergic. they not only gave me the medicine but they gave me double the dose and made me go into anaphylaxis shock. After they see me having the reaction they continue to stand there and look at me like they did nothing wrong. worst hospital I have ever been too. They were gonna send me home after all this too while I was still in severe pain.
I called 2 days ago to make an appt for a ultrasound (thyroid). They asked if I could come in this Wed at 345pm. I show up. They don’t have me in the system. They have me for next week. My husband took time off of work so I could make this quick appt. There is another women here same issue same dept! So annoyed!!!!! And of course they can’t fit me in on their mistake.
Thanks Westerly Hospital ER for taking care of me tonight with my allergic reaction. As someone who has serious allergies it is very scary to have a reaction. All of you did a great job and were fast and efficient in getting my reaction under control. I knew I was in good hands with all of you. In the last 3 weeks I've been to Westerly hospital 3 times. I had 3 great experiences there and would recommend this hospital.
everyone is so nice made me feel comfortable a during my procedure the Dr even rubbed my hand until I fell asleep
