Relaxed atmosphere, good beer selection, great burger
I've been here plenty of times and have never had bad food or bad service. I like the menu. Their Pub Club is a great sandwich, as is their tenderloin (breaded or grilled) and their burgers. They have a big menu with a nice variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads and appetizers. Their chicken tenders are actually some of the better ones around Ames. Great selection of beers, both on tap and in the bottle. Lots of space since they have a party room with a pool table in the back. Great atmosphere, good food. Highly recommended!
Waiter seated us. Waited more than 10 minutes, no one came to offer water. So we left.
Nick the bartender gave exceptional service to me and all my friends. I highly recommend west Towne pub
