We are regular customers to West Towne pub and normally have a great experience. Friday night was a different story! We ordered our food, drinks, and appetizer and received our drinks and appetizers fairly quick. We waited an hour and 45 minutes and still did not receive our food. We couldn’t wait any longer as we had plans. We were offered to get our food to go, but were told we were sill forth in line to receive our food, so decided to pay for what we consumed and leave. Looked like it was a popular place to watch ISU games. Food was good.
Had the Ribeye Steak, Fries, and salad was done The way I wanted.
Food was good. We had a party of 20 and only 1 server. Had to wait a lot and he seemed to forget often. Would of been nice to see 2. Maybe we would of gotten stuff faster... but over all it was a good first time visit to there..
What a great place, always so much fun and gr8 atmospheres!! Staff is always friendly!
This was my first time here and was pretty disappointed. I will start with what was good though. My tenderloin was really good ( without the bun which felt and tasted like it had sat out for days). The fries are awesome. My wife got the French dip which was very dry. She was not able to moisten with the au jus because it looked like and tasted like the cook scooped out the drip pan from the griddle. Please see picture in the comments.
