Tis was the first time i had been to the facility more than likely it will also be the last. The only person that had any courtesy at all was the greeter at the first door we went in. Who was obviously a disabled vet him self. As for the rest of the staff i was treated like an inconvenience and a bother.

I had laser surgery on right eye. Drove down from Amarillo. Got in quickly. Had procedure. Done. Staff was fantastic from the Housekeeper lady who showed use where to go, to the optical technician, to the Dr, to the eye clinic clerk, and the business office clerk. The Eye Dr., Dr. Joseph, was fantastic. I am very, very pleased with the staff at the West Texas VAMC. GOD BLESS Y'ALL

So far so good,we are human so we do have our bed head days and what not but overall the energy here is great.thank you west Texas va.

I've been neglected so long by this hospital staff that I need lumbar surgery. I've tried so hard to get basic care but they took to long. Dr awesemo could have done anything to prevent this in the almost 2 years I was his patient. The patient advocate is on the doctors side and doesn't have any real authority to help, but that's where I'm always referred for help. My appts outside the VA are canceled hours and days before every time. If I do by chance get an appt you can garuntee it will be at least 27 days away, which is l... read more

After being mistreated, talked down to and spoken over by the doctor, I've made my decision that I'm done with this place. The doctor made racist remarks, judged me off of my looks instead of listening to my issues and addressing them, plus she was quick to get an attitude and raise her voice at me. I held my composure to avoid escalating the situation but this is ridiculous. Then the doctor expects me to come back for more of this bad treatment? I don't think so. I guess this is what our service amounts to.

I've been receiving care from the WTVAMC for about a year now. They have been so help with getting medical help like my surgeries and other treatment. My pact team has gone about and beyond to help me with my treatment. I would like to say thank you very much for all help and assistance. The san angelo CBOC is a great place for treatment and big spring to.
