trusted a/c repair – this is going to be my 2nd time with this game and i'm no less impressed by the quality work and reliability. scheduling only takes a few minutes and they are almost always available for same-day service (even during a warm spell). Wouldn't think twice before hiring the m again!
try 'em for used appliances – i recently purchased a used stove from these guys and i'm extremely happy with the price and the warranty. i think twice before buying used anything but the salesperson was knowledgeable and courteous- unlike most places, he didn't try to push the products on me. highly recommended!
I WOULD NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. – They sent a repair man to our house to repair our Sub-0 wine cooler which had stopped working. After pulling everything out of the cooler, the repair man said we needed a new motor. He "replaced" the motor to the tune of $395. That was January 8, 2008. Two weeks ago, (early March, 2008) the cooler stopped working again. This time, they said we needed a new control panel. Don't know what they are doing – They came out to fix my refrigerator. Tech had me ordered the first part but didn't fix it. They sent different tech and told me I need to order different part so I did but still didn't fix it. Third one came and told me to order another part but when part arrived he said he couldn't install it. So he left without fixing it. Such a LIAR! – LIAR!!LIAR. I called in and asked for a furnace's blower motor cleaning service and was told that the job was about $100-$200, but never over $200. The tech came in the next day and estimated $599 just for cleaning. Obviously, I asked why and he said that in order to clean the system, he needs to take out all the parts, clean them and put them back and that's very expensive. Never showed up. – I scheduled a service appt to repair a leaking water heater for the following morning. The next morning came and went however, and no one showed up or called. When I called them, I was informed the technician assigned my job was busy with another job, but another technician would be at my home no later than 2pm. He also never showed up or called. Incompetent & Unprofessional – I also just signed up with this site to complain about West Coast Chief Repair. After reading these reviews, it is clear that their fridge repair/sales are not acceptable. The in-house repair technician threw a fit in my house because he didn't think a 50 degree freezer was a problem because he could still "hear" the motor running -so must be working! Great service – Overall I had a very pleasant experience. The customer service rep. was prompt, effective and very pleasant. Technician came during the time frame that was specified by the office (this is a very rare occurrence). The quote was actually $50 less than the lowest quote I had from competitors (I shopped around, had 3 other companies come in for an estimate).
