My brother is waiting for a room after surgery for more than 8 hrs? Not acceptable, why? It doesn’t seem there’s a lot of people,

Though I didn’t “love” having to go to the ER, I was very appreciative of the care and concern the physicians provided when I broke my foot. It was a particularly slammed night in trauma, but the level and quality of care did not waiver. Especially grateful for Dr. Calhoun and Dr. Dailey and the expertise and kindness they provided. Thank you, UC Health!

I'm not sure who's bright idea it was to do scheduled computer system updates at 2am Saturday/Sunday in a supposedly busy ER, but they need fired. Any patient transported from over an hour away with brain swelling should not have to wait 3 and a half hours to get a CT scan because the disk that was sent was misplaced. The patient should've never been discharged 28 hours after brain surgery while running a low grade fever and severe vomiting, without pain or nausea medication.
