Almost 1 year ago I was flown in to UC's ICU for necrotizing pneumonia from a MRSA infection in my blood. It was the end of April when i was taken from mercy Fairfield to UC I don't remember anything from April/may until the middle of June. During this time I was in a coma with collapsed lungs as well as being septic (I kept clogging the blood cleaning machine �) I had many blood transfusions as well as experimental surgery because my lungs had problems reinflating. I’ve changed all my doctors over to UC. The professionalism and care I have received is unparalleled! I’ve now had 2 major surgeries and several minor surgeries and procedures here in the last year. Each time I’ve been treated like a queen. It just doesn’t get better than this hospital. Btw I went through the weight loss program and I am down 100 ponds. These guys know what they are doing! Thank you UC for taking such great care of me.

Beware this hospital allowed a spine surgeon to do unnecessary surgeries and commit fraud. They willing repaid 4.1 million dollars back to the government for their part in the fraud. They are more worried about profits than patients. BEWARE OF GREED

I was just discharged on Tuesday after a eight day stay due to Crohn's disease complications. I couldn't have asked for better care than what my Drs, nurses and all of the staff gave me. They were wonderful. Now that I'm home where I couldn't wait to be I find myself missing my nurses and wondering what is going on at the hospital for the day lol. �

By far the best transplant organization in the state. I’ve dealt with OSU and Cleveland Clinic and NEITHER cares for their patients the way UC does. I would recommend them to anyone a million times over. Absolutely phenomenal hospital.
