Never answer calls and never able to get appointments
Called for an appointment as I have been struggling to breath due to severe congestion and airway blockage and I was told by the receptionist "but you speak fine on the phone". Thanks that really helped

I am reluctant to criticise NHS staff but there is obviously a tactic that the reception staff use at this surgery which I find appalling. The automated system tries its best to divert you to do anything but actually speak to a person, but if you persevere, you sit on hold for a while which is frustrating but understandable. However, what I've noticed is that, once they do answer the call they often say "I can't hear you. Can you call back," before immediately hanging up.
