This Care Home was reported as appalling and unsafe 2 years ago. It seems to be still open. It was reported to Social Services. It came to my attention recently that the social worker, in question at the time was a friend of the manager. It was considered reporting this social worker at the time who was rude and distressing, but we were afraid mum would be targeted more. I would seriously question this so called care facility, it's not safe, and the back up is questionable.
Absolutely dreadful, beyond measure. My mother who has dementia was left in her bed having wet herself. Her room was thick with amonia. The door to her room was closed shut. For hours. Her walker was left in her room, it was broken, she could have killed herself using it. She told me she was frightenend. Beyond wrong. I have reported with S Services and I am sincerely hoping that so called care home will be shut down.
I recently worked here for almost 3 years and can safely say what a lovely home it is. With happy staff and equally happy residents. :)
