I have been here for years. I myself am autistic I have a number of mental health issues as well as physical. There is no comparison no care I would of been so much better off without coming here in actual fact this place made my mental health worse
I was referred to the service as I was awaiting diagnosis for ASD in 2020 - have since been formally diagnosed and the service offers me absolutely no help and when I have asked for help previous been told (3 years into using the service) they don’t really do anything for people with ASD and all I can do is look for a different service to help me. Impossible to contact anyone for anything you actually need
Was diagnosed with ASD then dropped cold tofurkey (the care coordinator suddenly left their job and I was not given a different person) from their services with no help or way to progress my care. My advocate had to refer me for social work help as I'm disabled, and today I received a letter from wessex house telling me I have an assessment where they turn up to my home without consent, and to phone if it is not appropriate, with no email on the paper or website to get in touch. Very poor understsnding of mental health and autism and raynauds they just blame it on mental health saying im coping fine when mentally im not coping fine they are only 6 appointments dont feel listened to buy the mental health nurse or my social worker they do nothing right and are not very helpfull
Psychological department Is brilliant. Reception team are lovely and helpful. Emma is great, easy to talk to, professional and helpful.
