I have never had a doctor who was more focused on me as a person. The level of care I received from his whole team was beyond any experience I’ve had to date. His expertise, knowledge, and ability shows clearly, and while it’s unfortunate that I needed the surgery, I had a positive experience and outcome. He really prepares you for the entire process-which you won’t appreciate until it’s over. He is an outstanding doctor, I highly recommend him.

I am very satisfied with my right hip replacement by Dr. Lackey. I had my surgery 7 weeks before going on a Mediterranean cruise, which entailed a lot of walking up steps at inclines on tours. My hip was great-I did do physical therapy, but so glad I had the surgery done. He did a great job. Was able to have it done anteriorly, which did not cut muscles. Highly recommend him & St. Francis--Moorsville Hospital.

Dr. Lackey is so awesome! He really listens to your concerns & provides great solutions. His bedside manner is so great - you don't learn that in med school. He did my partial knee replacement last year - he explained to me exactly what the proceudre &recovery would be like. I broke my ankle this summer & was told I needed surgery. The first call I made was to him to see if he would repair it - and again, he was so accomodating and fixed ir perfectly! Highly recommend to everyone I know!
Very considerate to all my concerns before and after surgery. Staff and or Dr himself returning calls when I had/have questions. Very professional staff during surgery prep that kept things light while talking with me and getting things staged. And the doctor's friendly hand shake and greeting right before the procedure was very much appreciated. Can not think of anything that I would like to have been different except never busting my knee in the first place.
He was very instrumental in keeping me walking! Excellent doctor and also caring.I can't say enough good things about him.
