The worst online experience results in unfair fee. Your internet site is absolutely the worst. I've been a good customer for over 5 years and I auto pay my mortgage each month. One month, I decide to increase my payment by $200. In order to do that, I have to cancel my existing auto pay and return on a later date to set up a new auto pay. I have been in my house 12 years no late payments until i lost my job. WFHM helped by doubling my mortgage payments and making me think that they would do a loan modification at the end of making my double payments for 5 months straight. I kept my end of the agreement but WFHM came up with an excuse to say that I don't qualify for a loan modification and deliberately listed 30 days and 60 days late payments so that another company can see my credit and not want to do a refinance with me. I experienced the WORST customer service today with Shanice McKissick in the Home Mortgage department. She was assigned to me as a case worker to explain a problem, but she was rude and disrespectful. Her attitude is a reflection of the recent news about Wells Fargo and it's such disappointment for a company that should be striving to save its clients.
No one at Wells Fargo can seem to explain to me why my homeowners premium was paid, not once, but twice, throwing my escrow into negative numbers. The kicker is, it wasn't even due yet! I did everything your customer service reps told me to do in order to switch companies, and y'all managed to screw it all up.
