Horrible hospital. My mother was taken by ambulance earlier this week, her second admit this month. The hospital's labor problems are severely impacting patient care. While my mother was in the ER, I tried to find out who her doctor was. I asked the unit secretary this question -- her response was, "I am going to the bathroom first, and then I will tell you." You make me sick Wellington Regional Medical Center! I give you 9 years of my life as an employee and you send me to a collection agentcy for having a baby while employed there? I absolutely despise this hospital. Be careful where you invest your time and hard work because you may get stabbed in the back for it.
Really impressed how quickly I was in and out of the ER after a fall at WEF. Even after I left the hospital I needed more paperwork to compete at the horse show and the Doctor was able to accommodate me quickly and they were realistic about my injuries. A big thank you!
If your ok with having your loved one lay in their own feces for an entire night after having brain surgery only days before, then I would recommend this hospital to you. The CNA's name is Chantal Emile that allowed this to happen to Mother. She isn't qualified to work at Walmart.
Had a wonderful experience with my labor and delivery here this past July. The nurses were amazing. My L&D nurse Liz even stayed 15 mins past her night shift ending to stay with me until my son arrived. They respected my birth plan and worked well with my doula. Even my PP care was amazing. Nurses were attentive and informative. Nurse Milessa was especially wonderful teaching us the best swaddle. Only reason I dint give a five is the PP rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The only thing more fun than being trapped in the parking garage as the 8 cars in front you attempt to make 3 point turns to leave the full garage is spending 20 minutes past your appoint, looking for parking. And what moron decided 2 handicapped spaces per outbuilding was even remotely adequate on SoFla?
